ScottishPower has signed a three-year green energy supply contract with the construction and development company Cruden Group, committed to building homes with green energy.

ScottishPower is working closely with the Cruden Group to develop a range of renewable and other clean and sustainable energy solutions to be applied to the more than 1,500 homes they have under construction.

These projects include ground and air source heat pumps, electric vehicle chargers, emission-free heating solutions, solar photovoltaic panels and energy storage solutions. In addition, their developments will incorporate Passivhaus or passive house standards, i.e. energy efficient homes using innovative carbon-free construction methods based on bioclimatic architecture.
